On The Road Again

Parent's Weekend at Embry Riddle Prescott, Arizona On Friday October 18th, we flew to Phoenix and then drove up to Prescott to visit Dylan for Parent's weekend.  It was great to see Dylan in his "home away from home."  We went to his favorite restaurant, explored the surrounding area, made a trip to CostCo and just enjoyed being together.  We are looking forward to seeing him at home over Thanksgiving weekend.   Waiting for an Uber to DEN Dylan's favorite restaurant  Such a pretty drive to Jerome, AZ Dinner at the Palace on Whiskey Row in Prescott, AZ Only 9 more to visit... USNA Class of 1984 35th Reunion Kevin and “Billie the Goat” No trip to Annapolis is complete with out some steamers! On Thursday October 24th we headed out to Annapolis for Kevin's  class reunion.  We took advantage of the one sunny day and toured around campus, visited the Midstore and watched the final dress parade of the sea...

Day 71 - DISCHARGED!! .... Snow, Visitors and More!

On October 10th, after 71 days as an in-patient in two hospitals, Kevin was released!   To celebrate we went out to dinner with Sean, Dylan and Dianna at Hops and Pie in Tennyson (a cute little North Denver neighborhood) and then out to see Mortified Live.  Marissa and Tyler joined us too. Pictures are Kevin celebrating with his first beer in over 2 months!  Big smile for the first beer in a long time! Ahhhhh! We've been told snow is rare in October....well we got to see it on our moving day.  Kevin moved out of the hospital and Jean Anne moved out of the apartment and we now live together again in the Craig Family housing building.     Great day at the Botanical Gardens Peggy Schneble came to visit Oct 10-13.  She visited our new room in the family housing building.  We had a lovely dinner with Susan and Charlie (Peggy's sister and brother-in-law), breakfast at the Perfect Landing restaurant at ...

Sunday Fun-Day

Trying to get all the pretty Fall decorations in the background One of the nurses recommended a visit to the town of Evergreen, CO.  He said it was an easy drive and we could see some fall foliage.  What a great recommendation.  We had a lovely lunch at Willowcreek Restaurant, wandered around the cute little town and enjoyed the changing leaves.
